We start a tour with an excursion to Reykjavik, the world’s northernmost capital. We walk through the historic city center and attractions such as Hallgrimskirkja Church, city center and harbor, Hofdi House, where Ronald Reagan and Mikhail Gorbachev met at the end of the Cold War, the residence of the President of Iceland in Bessastadir, and other exciting places.

Then, we head towards the Blue Lagoon, one of Iceland’s most popular attractions. The lagoon is located on the Reykjanes Peninsula, 45 minutes from Reykjavik, in a region known for its barren landscapes and cone-shaped volcanoes. The beautiful milky blue water of the lagoon is unlike anything else and starkly contrasts the surrounding black lava fields and creeping gray moss covering. The water temperature here is 38°C (102°F) all year round, making the lagoon ideal for swimming. Here, you can spend 2-3 hours soaking and relaxing in the water, which also has a healing effect. After the lagoon, we will return to Reykjavik to your accommodation.

In general – the earlier, the better. Consider the fact that most of our tours are privately guided, and therefore an availability on certain dates might be limited.

How about tipping in Iceland?

Tipping in Iceland is not required but always appreciated.

Is it obligatory to have child seats/boosters?

Yes, it is requested by Icelandic law to have child seats/boosters. Some families are already traveling on their own, but if you would like us to provide child seats and/or boosters on the tour, please send us an e-mail.
